Famous Classic Rockbound 'STEPPENWOLF' have celebrate their 50th anniversary on 5 august 2017 in the Ryman Auditorium (previous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville) and guess what's in the goody bag for the fans…? Yes, the Philhelmon single 'To The Water' featuring Steppenwolf's Ron Hurst on drums. We are so proud that they choose Philhelmon for this promo. We had a limited run printed for that big 50th anniversary concert in Nashville. The CD with this song was given out to Steppenwolf's super-fans ("the Wolf Pack") and was very well received. Ky sang lead vocals and played guitars, Tyler Gould and Tiger Brooke sang back up vocals, Ron Hurst, drummer from John Kay & Steppenwolf ("Born to be Wild" anyone?!?) played drums, Hans Holema played some very tasty lead guitar, and of course Henk Bol played keys, synths, bass and guitar - giving it that unmistakable Philhelmon sound! This version of "To The Water" was mixed by Ky and mastered in Nashville specifically for this single release -an alternate version will appear on our forthcoming album "Perpetual Immobile." This version of the song will not be available anywhere else! But we feel not only the Wolfpack fans can get this exclusive release. So you, supporters of Philhelmon get it!
